Hours of Operation
We are open Monday to Friday 7.30am – 6.00pm.
Our centre is however closed on the following days:
- Australia Day
- Labour Day
- ANZAC Day
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Queen’s Birthday
- Friday before AFL
- Grand Final Day
- Monday before Melbourne Cup Day
- Melbourne Cup Day
Our Team
Our team of more than 20 staff are dedicated to providing high quality care to the children and families within our centre. We have a combination of permanent educators allocated to each room, room support educators and casual relief educators. We also have a qualified cook who prepares all meals on site.
All our educators have the required early childhood qualifications including Certificate III, Diploma and Bachelor level qualifications. We also have more than the required number of Diploma qualified educators working directly with the children.
Our team of educators participate in a centre-wide annual staff development day to further their professional knowledge and practice. Our educators are also encouraged and supported to participate in other relevant professional development opportunities.
In addition, all our educators maintain up-to-date training on first aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management and Child Protection.
Our Committee of Management
Our centre is managed by a volunteer committee of management which consists of interested parent representatives. The committee has the responsibility to manage the affairs of the organisation and has legal duties under the Associations Incorporation Reform Act, 2012. All parents are invited to attend the annual AGM held each year and nominate to become a member of the Committee of Management.
